Welcome Message:

Dear friends and colleagues:

On behalf of the scientific and organizing committee, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to SAPH 2016, the 9th Joint Pulmonary Hypertension Assembly that will be held in the beautiful Amman, Jordan on 4-6 February 2016.

As a continuation for successful collaboration between the Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension (SAPH) and the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI), the 9th Joint Assembly will be held under the name of the “Eastern Mediterranean Region, a “taskforce” that represents both institutes. This collaboration has proven during the last eight meetings to be highly successful and also helped in introducing physicians in the Middle East and North African countries to the world experts in the field of pulmonary hypertension and to the most advanced development in understanding and managing Pulmonary Hypertension.

SAPH 2016 will be different in its scientific organization compared to the previous meetings, as the different sessions will be conducted as mini-master classes, allowing more time for discussion further enriching the scientific content.

With its rich scientific program and both international and national expert faculties, we believe that SAPH 2016 will provide a valuable and unique opportunity for attendees to update their knowledge in the field of pulmonary vascular disease and pulmonary hypertension and giving them the chance to interact with colleagues, regional leaders and world experts in the field.

The host city, Amman, is an exciting locale for this meeting, given its incredibly cultural heritage and touristic appeal.

We look forward to welcoming you to SAPH 2016 and we hope that you will find it a memorable scientific, cultural and social experience.
